Samuel Henry Owen

Samuel was born in June 1874 in Tranmere and his baptism took place on May 17th, 1874 at St. Mary (Birkenhead).¹

Samuel's father was Taliesin Owen and his mother was Mary Jane Jones. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Taliesin, Harold, Arthur, Tilston, Elizabeth, Margaret and Amy. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 84 on January 15th, 1959 in Birkenhead.²
