Elizabeth was born in May 1870 in Birkenhead.1  Elizabeth's father was Taliesin Owen and her mother was Mary Jane Jones. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Samuel, Taliesin, Harold, Arthur, Tilston, Margaret and Amy.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at 4 months old in September 1870 in Birkenhead.1
