Ellen Openshaw

Ellen was born in 1880 in Darcy Lever.¹

Ellen's father was George Openshaw and her mother was Ellen Buckley. Her maternal grandparents were Jonathan Buckley and Mary Webster. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Fred, Emma, Alice and Mary. She was the fifth oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 68 on December 25th, 1948 in Bury.²
