George was born in 1808 in Bistre. George's father was William Millington and his mother was Mary Hewitt.  His paternal grandparents were George Millington and Catherine Thornton. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, George, William, Charles, Mary, Hannah, Elizabeth and Jane.  He died at the age of 12 in April 1820 in Bistre.  He was buried on April 15th, 1820 in Hawarden.1
