George's father was William Millington and his mother was Mary Hewitt. His paternal grandparents were John Millington and Mary Connah. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, George, William, Charles, Mary, Hannah, Elizabeth and Jane. He died at the age of 12 in April 1820 in Bistre. His burial was on April 15th, 1820 in Hawarden.¹
