Flossie, known as Florrie, was born in December 1895 in Chester.¹

Florrie's father was Joseph Millington and her mother was Elizabeth Ellis. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Clemence, Dennis, Dilys, Lena, Ethel, Alice, Clara and Miriam.  She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 76 in 1971.
