Ann was born on September 16th, 1812 in Manchester and her baptism took place on July 5th, 1812 at Manchester Cathedral.1  Ann's father was John Millington and her mother was Harriet Whitworth.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward Millington and Ann Davies. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Peter, Harriet, Martha, Mary and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 77 in February 1890 in Farnworth.  She was buried on February 20th, 1890 in Farnworth.2

‌Ann and Robert were married in a religious ceremony on December 29th, 1833 in Farnworth.3   The family line is yet to be completed.
