John Millington

John was born in June 1790 in Broughton (Hawarden) and his baptism took place on June 30th, 1790 in Hawarden.¹

John's father was Edward Millington and his mother was Ann Davies. His paternal grandparents were John Millington and Susannah Bannion. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Peter, Samuel, William, Ann, Susannah and Catherine. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 in 1860.

- In June 1790, John was baptised, the son of Edward Milliangton a farmer and his wife Ann Davies.
  
  In 1811, John married Harriet at Manchester Cathederal.
  
  In 1819, John and Harriet had their son John baptised at Halton (Cheshire). Later children were baptised at Little Lever
  
  I 1841, John a labourer and Harriet (50 & 45) were with John, Harriet, Martha, Mary, Peter and Elizabeth at Green Street, Farnworth. John was Welsh and Harriet was not from Lancashire.
  
  In 1851, John (60, Labourer, born Hawarden) & Harriet (60, born Wakefield, Yorkshire) were at Farnworth, Lancashire. They had two daughters Harriet and Mary (27 & 22, born Little Lever)
