Phoebe Elizabeth Miller 
Phoebe was born in 1861 in Witton, St Helen.1 Phoebe's father was John Miller and her mother was Phoebe Haddock. Her paternal grandparents were James Miller and Susannah (Susan) Poole; her maternal grandparents were William Haddock and Sarah (Sally) Pickstock. She had five brothers and five sisters, named James, William, John, George, Christopher, Mary, Kate, Sarah, Emily and Florence. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 81 in 1942.1 General Notes
