Elizabeth (Lizzie or Liz) Ashley

Elizabeth, known as Lizzie or Liz, was born in 1898 in Birkenhead.¹ Lizzie or Liz's father was Frederick Ashley and her mother was Phoebe Elizabeth Miller. Her maternal grandparents were John Miller and Phoebe Haddock. She had a brother and three sisters, named Frederick, Laura, Florrie and Clara. She was the second oldest of the five children.
