Winnifred Crompton Mather

Winnifred's father was Henry Mather and his mother was Deborah Crompton.  Henry Mather and Sarah (Sally) Swindels were his grandparents through his father's adoption. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James, Joseph, Thomas, William, Herbert, <female>, Harriet and Sarah.  He was the third youngest of the nine children.

‌Winnifred and Jane were married in a civil ceremony in September 1900 in Bolton.³   The family line is yet to be completed.
