James Henry Mather

James was born in 1867 in Little Hulton.¹

James' father was Henry Mather and his mother was Deborah Crompton. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Winnifred, William, Herbert, <female>, Harriet and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.

- There are three registry office marriags for James Henry Mather, one 1893 at Wigan another 1899 at Blackburn, and a matching one in Q2 1889 at Bolton to Mary Alice who James is married to in 1901.
