Thomas Mather

Thomas was born in April 1788 in Atherton and his baptism took place on April 6th, 1788 at St. John the Baptist (Atherton).¹

Thomas' father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Hatton. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, Thomas, John, Mary, William, Peggy and Ellen.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 16 in January 1805 in Atherton.  He was buried on January 31st, 1805 at St. John the Baptist (Atherton).¹
