Thomas Mather

Thomas was born in February 1777 in Atherton and his baptism took place on February 2nd, 1777 at St. John the Baptist (Atherton).¹

Thomas' father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Hatton. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Thomas, Mary, William, Peggy and Ellen. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died before 1788 in Atherton.

- Thomas may have died young as another Thomas was baptised in 1788. However, it may also ber Thomas son of Thomas and Elizabeth Moore (not Hatton)
