Peggy Mather

Peggy was born in August 1774 in Atherton and her baptism took place on August 7th, 1774 at St. John the Baptist (Atherton).¹

Peggy's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Elizabeth Hatton. She had six brothers and a sister, named James, Thomas, John, Thomas, Mary, William and Ellen. She was the second oldest of the eight children.
