Thomas Mather

Thomas was born in 1787 in Bamber Bridge and his baptism took place on February 18th, 1787 in Walton-le-Dale.¹

Thomas' father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Jenny Rigby. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Mather and Margaret Fielden. He had four brothers and a sister, named Richard, John, Richard, Robert and Jenny. He was the oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Joshua, Thomas and Mary.
