Thomas Mather

Thomas was born about 1755 in Prescot.¹ Thomas is no longer alive.

General Notes
- Thomas was probably the son or grandson of Mary and Thomas Mather born about 1709, a Clay Potter in Prestwich.
  
  In 1778, Thomas Mather, a potter from Prescot, and Elizabeth Garswood married at Farnworth.

Occupation Details
- From 1778 to after 1800 Thomas' occupation was Potter in Prescot.
  - Occupation Notes
    - Although Thomas and Elizabeth married at Farnworth and lived at Prescot. Their Banns show Thomas was a potter (also shown on all the childrens baptisms and infant burials)
