Ralph, like many of the family was a Clay Potter.
8 Aug 1756, Ralph married Ann Wilkinson. She was probably quite young and appears to have died in childbirth. Ann and her child were buried 2 days appart.
19 July 1758, Thomas was born to Ralph a Clay Potter and Ann. This was Ann Thompson who he had married 18 Jan 1758 when she was 2 months pregnant.
From 1758 to 1775, Ralph and Ann had 8 children at Prescot.
Ralph and Ann were married in a religious ceremony on August 8th, 1756 in Prescot.2
