Sarah Ann Mather

Sarah was born in 1868 in Entwistle and her baptism took place on January 1st, 1868 in Turton.¹²

Sarah's father was Abraham Mather and her mother was Jane Greenhalgh. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Martha Kay. She had three brothers and a sister, named Amos, John, William and Nancy. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 82 in February 1950 in Turton. Her burial was on February 3rd, 1950 at St. Anne (Turton).³
