Sarah Mather

Sarah was born on January 16th, 1857 in Hindley and her baptism took place there on January 19th, 1857.¹²

Sarah's father was Richard Mather and her mother was Jane Ingram. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Martha Barlow. She had a brother and five sisters, named John, Ellen, Selina, Martha, Elizabeth and Margaret. She was the fifth oldest of the seven children. She died as an infant at 2 months old in March 1857 in Hindley.¹
