Richard Mather

Richard was born in 1827 in Hindley and his baptism took place there on August 26th, 1827.¹²

Richard's father was William Mather and his mother was Martha Barlow. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, William, John, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth and Jane. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 75 on February 7th, 1902 in Ince. His burial was on February 11th, 1902 in Hindley.²
