Sarah Mather

Sarah was born in November 1849 in Middleton and her baptism took place on November 4th, 1849 at St. Leonard (Middleton).¹²

Sarah's father was Peter Mather and her mother was Martha Dawson. Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel (Nathan) Mather and Alice Brooks. She had three brothers named James, William and Joseph. She was the third oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 53 in March 1903 in Middleton. Her burial was on March 25th, 1903 in Rhodes (nr. Middleton).²
