Samuel Mather

Samuel was born in 1882 in Halliwell and his baptism took place on March 29th, 1882 at the St. Matthew (Little Lever).¹²

Samuel's father was John Mather and his mother was Eliza Horrobin. His paternal grandparents were <unknown> and Mary Mather. He had three brothers and five sisters, named James, John, Harry, Mary, Eliza, Jane, Sarah and Ada. He died at the age of 9 in September 1891 in Halliwell. His burial was on September 19th, 1891 at St. Paul (Halliwell).³¹
