Rosetta Mather

Rosetta was born in December 1885 in Little Bolton and her baptism took place on October 20th, 1886 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Rosetta's father was Sgt John Mather and her mother was Martha Alice Brierly. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Jane Welsby. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Peter, William, James, Ellen, Elizabeth and Eliza. She had an adopted sister named Mary. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Edward and Margaret. She died at the age of 53 in February 1939 in Bolton. She was buried on February 24th, 1939.³⁴
