Robert Mather

Robert was born in 1809 in Withnell and his baptism took place on November 5th, 1809 in Brindle.¹

Birth Notes

Robert's father was Jonathan Mather and his mother was Catherine Fielding. His paternal grandparents were James Mather and Esther Mason. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Alice, Martha and Esther. He was the oldest of the six known children. He had three half-sisters named Sarah, Catherine and Sarah.
