Richard Mather

Richard was born on November 28th, 1772 in Warrington and his baptism took place on January 6th, 1773 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Richard's father was Henry Mather and his mother was Sarah Clare. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, James, Mary, Betty, Sarah, Ellen and Kitty.  He was the third youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 33 in April 1806 in Warrington.  He was buried on April 30th, 1806 at St. Elphin (Warrington).²
