Ellen Mather

Ellen was born on July 14th, 1774 in Warrington and her baptism took place on August 19th, 1774 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Ellen's father was Henry Mather and her mother was Sarah Clare. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, James, Richard, Mary, Betty, Sarah and Kitty.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 30 in December 1804 in Warrington.  She was buried on December 22nd, 1804 at St. Elphin (Warrington).²
