Mary Mather

Mary was born in March 1762 in Warrington and her baptism took place on March 5th, 1762 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Mary's father was Henry Mather and her mother was Sarah Clare. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, James, Richard, Betty, Sarah, Ellen and Kitty.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 23 in August 1785 in Warrington.  She was buried on August 6th, 1785 at St. Elphin (Warrington).²
