Betty Mather

Betty was born in October 1763 in Warrington and her baptism took place on October 26th, 1763 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Betty's father was Henry Mather and her mother was Sarah Clare. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, James, Richard, Mary, Sarah, Ellen and Kitty.  She was the second oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 52 in April 1816 in Warrington.  She was buried on April 2nd, 1816 at St. Elphin (Warrington).²
