Richard Mather

Richard was born in 1830 in Salford.¹

Richard's father was John Mather and his mother was Ann Harper. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Barlow. He had three brothers and six sisters, named James, John, Thomas, Ellen, Martha, Hannah, Hannah, Ann and Martha. He was the second oldest of the ten children.
