Hannah's father was John Mather and her mother was Ann Harper.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Barlow. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Richard, James, John, Thomas, Ellen, Martha, Hannah, Ann and Martha.  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 2 in January 1843 in Salford.  She was buried on January 19th, 1843 in Salford.^2 3
