General Notes
This is NOT the Richard and Nancy from Liverpool, a mariner.
There are two Richards from Deane Parish in 1852 (the other son of John). Either one may have married Nancy Nichols, but this Richard has a mother and daughter Sarah.
Richard and Nancy were married in a religious ceremony on November 18th, 1779 at St. Mary (Deane) by Vicar Richard Latham and witnessed by Richard Bradley & Holland Bradley.4 There are no children.
Family Notes
This appears to be the only Lancashire marriage of Richard and Nancy, although the Richard and Nancy from Liverpool is another family. Nancy is a pet name for Ann
