This is a problem, as James never married an Alice, so is Alice the same person as Sarah (i.e. Sarah Alice Watson)? She is from Rumworth, so could be the spouse of James, as all children are baptised or buried with abode as Rumworth. Another possibility is that this is for thier oldest daughter, and not Alice a Spouse but the record does state "wife of James". James of Rumworth died in 1797 and his wife Sarah died 4 years later. Therefore, this cannot be James's wife. Another possibility is that James's parents were James and Alice, so the above record could be his mother. It does apear James was son of James baptised at Deane in 1742, so this solution is a match!
