Nancy Mather

Nancy's father was James Mather and her mother was Isobel (Elizabeth) Wilkinson. Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Mary Dawson. She had five brothers and a sister, named John, John, James, James, Bould and Mary. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.

- There is also a Nancy Mather, daughter of John and Nancy, born the same year, and a Nancy Mather b.1818 daughter of James a farmer from Turton who married Richard Holden.
  
  Possibly this is this the Nancy Mather born 2 May 1790, married John Hart Jnr 25 Jun 1811 at Lyme Connecticut, and died 22 Jun 1834, Lyme, Connecticut, USA, althouith other trees have her parents as Sylvester Mather and Elizabeth Waite.
