Martha Mather

Martha was born in 1853 in Little Hulton.¹

Birth Notes

Martha's father was Joshua Grundy and her mother was Betty Mather. Her maternal grandparents were James Thornley (Mather) and Margaret (Peggy) Mather. She had five brothers and six sisters, named James, Thomas, Joseph, Robert, William, Ann, Sarah, Mary, Ellen, Alice and Sarah. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.
