John Mather

John was born in 1831.  John's father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Jane Cooke. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Charles, Willmot, Ann, Ellen, Elizabeth, Mary and Charlotte.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.
