In 1841, Peter was 14 and Jacob 13 (so not twins) at the White Horse, Edgworth with their father Isaac and step-mother Sarah.
In 1849, Peter and Jacob (brothers) were listed on the criminal register of larceny from the person.
In 1851, Jacob and Peter (both 25), quarryman at Edgworth, still with their parents.
After 1851, Jacob seems to have vapourised. He may have died in Livepool in 1864 (no age indexed) or married Mary Ann Finnegan in Wigan in 1860.
