Isaac was born on June 23rd, 1877 in Edgworth.¹

Birth Notes

Isaac's father was Jonathan Mather and his mother was Betsy Entwistle. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Mather and Elizabeth (Isabel) Holden. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, John, Mary, Alice, Esther and Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the seven known children.
