Harold Mather

Harold was born on January 16th, 1891 in Rhodes (nr. Middleton) and his baptism took place there on March 25th, 1891.¹²

Harold's father was Joseph Mather and his mother was Amelia Hannah Verity. His paternal grandparents were Peter Mather and Martha Dawson. He had three brothers and two sisters, named George, James, Walter, Florence and Nellie. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 93 in July 1984 in Rochdale.³
