Hannah Mather

Hannah was born in May 1781 in Westhoughton and her baptism took place on May 6th, 1781 at St. Bartholomew (Westhoughton).¹

Hannah's father was Ralph Mather and her mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Glover. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Ralph, John, Betty, Catharine, Ann, Ellin, Ellin and Mary.  She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 16 in September 1797 in Westhoughton.  She was buried on September 9th, 1797 at St. Bartholomew (Westhoughton).¹
