Birth Notes

Emma's father was John William Mather and her mother was Charlotte Ann Swift. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Mather (Cunliffe) and Alice Heaton. She had four brothers and two sisters, named George, Arthur, James, Stanley, Alice and Lily. She was the youngest of the seven children.
