Emily Mather

Emily was born in December 1878 in Turton.¹

Birth Notes

Emily's father was Charles Mather and her mother was Ann Dewhurst. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah (Ann) Kirkham. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, (William), Edmund, Robert, Mary and Margaret. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 1 in March 1880 in Turton.¹
