Elizabeth Mather

Elizabeth was born in June 1818 in Manchester and her baptism took place on June 14th, 1818 at Manchester Cathedral.¹

Elizabeth's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Isabella Anderson. Her paternal grandparents were Jeffery Mather and Mary Hampson. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William, Jeffery, Mary and Frances. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 77 on February 6th, 1896 in New South Wales.²
