Elizabeth Mather

Elizabeth was born in 1834 in Breightmet and her baptism took place on July 31st, 1834 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Elizabeth's father was James Mather and her mother was Martha Austin.  Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ann Brabin. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Ellen, Ann and Mary.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 75 in 1909 in Halliwell.²
