Charles Mather

Charles was born in 1792 in Turton and his baptism took place on February 17th, 1792 at Turton Chapel.¹

Charles' father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Alice Entwistle. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, John, Edward, James, Richard, Thomas, Mary and Ann. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 27 in October 1819 in Quarlton. His burial was on November 1st, 1819 at St. Anne (Turton).²
