Ann Mather

Ann was born in 1790 in Quarlton and her baptism took place on June 6th, 1790 at Turton Chapel.¹

Ann's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Alice Entwistle. She had seven brothers and a sister, named John, Charles, John, Edward, James, Richard, Thomas and Mary.  She was the third oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 2 in May 1792 in Turton.  She was buried on May 28th, 1792 at Turton Chapel.¹
