Alphonso Mather

Alphonso's father was Simon Mather and his mother was Jane Wolstencroft.  His paternal grandparents were Simon Mather and Ellen Brooks Unsworth. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Frederick, George, Ellen, Henrietta and Margaret. He had an adopted sister named Martha. He had a half-brother named Robert.  He died at the age of 50 in July 1910 in Bolton.²

‌Alphonso and Jane were married in a religious ceremony on October 25th, 1885 at St. Peter's (Bolton).³   The family line is yet to be completed.
