In 1841, Simon and Ellen Mather (45 & 50) were at Shaw Street, East Bolton (household 534/13/13/089) with Joseph (20), Jeffery (15), William (15), Simon (13) and Thomas (8).
In 1841 & 1851, Daniel Allsop was a neighbour, widow of Sarah Ann Buckley who's younger sister Ellen married John Mather. There are several family connections to Shaw Street.
In 1851, Simon and Ellen (58 & 60; Hindley & Wigan) were at 45 Shaw Street, East Bolton and had Joseph Unsworth (31, son), Geoffery (27), Simon (23) and Thomas (18). All the men were Bed Quilt Weavers.
Ellen died in 1853, aged 62, and Simon married Amelia Unsworth later the same year.
