  • Unverified family member, added here because Henrietta's mother was also registered as TOWNSON and is very likely the daughter of Jane.  Also all family births were registered in Western Bolton.  As Martha is missing in 1861, she most probably died in 1857, aged 1, so birth may be registered late

  • Martha and Henrietta's births were registered with MMN = TOWNSON, not WOLSTENCROFT.
    
    There were two Martha Mathers born about 1856, the other Q1 1857 (MMN = Rooney).  There is no Mather marriage to TOWNSON or ROONEY, ano no Martha listed on the 1861  Lancashire census.
