Alice Mather

Alice was born in October 1819 in Bolton and her christening took place on October 3rd, 1819 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Alice's father was Samuel Mather and her mother was Ellen Rigby.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Mather. She had six brothers and a sister, named Thomas, William, Samuel, Ralph, George, James and Marianne.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 66 in September 1886 in Bolton.²
