Ada Alice Mather

Ada was born in June 1865 in Eagley and her baptism took place on June 29th, 1865 in Astley Bridge.¹²

Ada's father was William Mather and her mother was Alice Cooper. Her paternal grandparents were Solomon Mather and Betty Barns. She had four brothers named Herbert, Walter, James and Harold. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 61 on January 30th, 1927 in Harrogate. Her burial was on February 2nd, 1927 at Christ Church, Walmsley.³³
